The property owner requested a comprehensive crawl space and foundation inspection to evaluate exterior hatch moisture damage, rotting plywood decking, and potential crawl space mold growth along the structural floor joists.
Our certified technicians conducted an initial site assessment of the exterior crawl space entry hatch and subfloor framing. We inspected the deteriorated, water-damaged wooden hatch decking abutting the exterior brick foundation, evaluated the interior crawl space floor joists and cinder block walls for moisture accumulation and organic growth, applied an EPA-registered antimicrobial treatment to sanitize the subfloor timber, and recommended replacing the rotted hatch board with a sealed, weather-resistant cover to prevent ongoing water intrusion.
