The customer required emergency mitigation services following a water damage loss in their basement utility and mechanical room. Standing water had accumulated across the concrete subfloor, threatening sensitive mechanical systems including the water heater, furnace, and exposed structural wall framing.
We immediately mitigated the basement water damage by extracting all standing moisture from the concrete floors around the mechanical components and utility systems, treating the exposed subfloor with a professional antimicrobial sanitizer to prevent mold development. To eliminate the residual moisture trapped in the concrete and timber studs, we established a targeted drying profile utilizing commercial air movers and a heavy-duty dehumidifier, ensuring the structural framing and utility lines were thoroughly dried and stabilized against secondary damage.
