The customer was experiencing issues likely related to water damage and potential mold growth, necessitating demolition and remediation services. Additionally, there was a need for professional sampling to test for asbestos and lead paint in various areas of the home.
Our team provided comprehensive remediation and restoration services, including the removal of approximately 60 sq ft of drywall, 20 linear feet of baseboard, and 20 linear feet of quarter round trim. We applied antimicrobial treatment to 80 sq ft of affected areas and utilized air scrubbers for air purification. Content manipulation and relocation were performed for two hours, along with the application of 80 sq ft of poly sheeting for protection. Asbestos and lead paint samples were collected from the main level common area bathroom and the basement bedroom bathroom, and submitted for expedited lab analysis. We meticulously wiped down and covered large contents in bedrooms and bathrooms, sealing off vital areas and closets within affected rooms. Containment barriers were established in all affected rooms, the hallway, and foyer, including sealing off the kitchen and living room. Demolition commenced in the back two bedrooms. In the lower level, containment was set at the bottom of the steps, and contents were manipulated and prepared for covering in plastic, with plans for further demo and cleaning.
