The customer contacted us following a catastrophic event—likely a severe storm or high-wind incident—that resulted in significant structural impact damage. The exterior wooden deck was completely collapsed, and the roof system suffered a breach that allowed water to penetrate the interior. This created an immediate need for emergency board-up, tarping, and a full-scale restoration of the home's structural integrity.
Our team provided a comprehensive emergency mitigation and reconstruction (putback) service. Emergency Stabilization: Secured the exterior with heavy-duty roof tarping and cleared the debris from the collapsed deck structure. Interior Controlled Demolition: Removed saturated drywall and insulation from the vaulted ceilings to inspect the rafters and prevent mold growth. Structural Inspection & Preparation: Evaluated the exposed OSB sheathing and roof trusses for damage while maintaining a climate-controlled environment using industrial air movers. Reconstruction (Putback) Phase: Began the process of re-insulating the ceiling cavities with high-quality fiberglass batts and preparing the interior surfaces for new drywall installation and finishing.
