Customer required mold remediation services due to significant mold growth on their plaster ceiling and a portion of a wall, expressing concerns about dust control during reconstruction.
Our team performed a surgical removal of all affected plaster ceilings and specific wall portions, stripping the structure back to the studs and masonry to ensure any hidden source of contamination was fully exposed and eradicated. To address the client’s primary concern regarding cleanliness, the crew established a professional-grade containment zone by utilising reinforced floor protection and high-visibility poly-containment barriers to seal off doorways and protect household contents from cross-contamination. Following the demolition, a rigorous two-stage decontamination process was executed, involving industrial HEPA vacuuming to clear fine dust from all surfaces and the application of an anti-microbial spray treatment to sanitise the exposed framing and masonry. Recognising the customer’s high sensitivity to dust control, the solution extended beyond simple removal; the team coordinated with the reconstruction department to keep an industrial air scrubber running on-site 24/7. This proactive approach ensures continuous air filtration, capturing airborne particles during the transition to the "put-back" phase and providing the client with ongoing peace of mind.
