Our team executed a comprehensive water damage mitigation and structural drying plan. First, we established containment barriers at the basement entrance and deployed professional-grade air scrubbers to maintain indoor air quality during demolition. We then removed saturated carpet, padding, and baseboards across all affected rooms, performed a "flood cut" (removing the bottom 2 feet of drywall) in the kids' bedroom, and removed wet insulation to ensure the wall cavities could dry. Our team stripped multiple layers of flooring, including laminate and subflooring installed over rubber matting, to reach the foundation level. To ensure safety, we performed a detailed final clean and applied a professional-grade bio-wash and disinfectant spray to all exposed surfaces to prevent microbial growth. Finally, we installed an industrial drying ensemble consisting of 14 air movers, 3 high-capacity dehumidifiers, and 2 air scrubbers to restore the environment to safe moisture levels.
