Water & Smoke Damage in Cincinnati

"While finishing our basement, we found a water leak. My husband was devastated and wanted to move. We called four companies and while they were all quick to respond, three of them told us that with the basement walls being finished, they needed to either tear out the walls to find the problem or that we needed to figure it out ourselves and then tell them what we wanted. Wade from Basement Restoration Technologies [a Teasdale Fenton company] was certain that he knew the problem was a cracked foundation, and we found out he was right! After that, I was convinced that we needed an interior drainage system. I researched the company online, saw several positive reviews, and checked BBB. When they came back with a price that was lower than the competitors, we went for it. We couldn't be happier for several reasons:
1) They did what they said they would do
2) They were able to start work the next day
3) They were done in 2 1/2 days when they said it would take 3, even with all the extra work they encountered
4) They didn't step in to our house without putting down heavy paper with painters tape and walked on that.
5) They put a tarp down in the driveway under their truck just in case it leaked oil. However, the truck never did leak oil, so I have to believe this was just a kind precautionary act.
6) They apologized in advance for any dust they would make. They left NO DUST in our basement!
7) Each time they encountered an obstacle, they asked for my opinion and wishes
8) They apologized in advance for any damage they did to our new walls. The walls looked virtually untouched!
9) They almost had to cut some drywall away but worked extra hours and extra carefully to ensure they didn't have to cut away any drywall at all!
10) They were very clean
11) They were extremely easy to communicate with.
12) They offer a lifetime transferable warranty."
